How much do you know about American cotton?

✨ What is American cotton?

American cotton is a yarn spun from long staple cotton produced in the United States.

✨ What is COTTON USA?

COTTON USA is a symbol awarded free of charge by the International Cotton Association to high-end clothing or home decor brands that use high-quality pure cotton from the United States. As a representative of fashion, COTTON USA has collaborated with numerous top brands worldwide and has been tirelessly promoting healthy and fashionable lifestyles to consumers. In China, COTTON USA has also been striving to integrate the essence of pure cotton comfort, fashion, and diversity into the lives of Chinese consumers.

✨ Advantages of American cotton:

1. Moisture absorption ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

American cotton fiber has good moisture absorption. Under normal circumstances, the fiber can absorb moisture into the surrounding atmosphere, with a moisture content of 8-10%. Therefore, when it comes into contact with human skin, it makes people feel soft and not stiff. If the humidity of cotton increases and the surrounding temperature is high, the water content in the fibers will evaporate and dissipate completely, keeping the fabric in a water balance state and making people feel comfortable.

2. Thermal insulation ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Due to the fact that cotton fiber is a poor conductor of heat and electricity, with a low thermal conductivity coefficient, and because cotton fiber itself has the advantages of porosity and high elasticity, a large amount of air can accumulate between fibers. Air is also a poor conductor of heat and electricity, so American cotton fiber textiles have good insulation properties.

3. Heat resistance ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

American cotton fabrics have good heat resistance. When the temperature is below 110 ℃, it will only cause water evaporation on the fabric and will not damage the fibers.

4. Alkali resistance ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cotton fibers have a strong resistance to alkali. In alkaline solutions, cotton fibers do not undergo damage, which is beneficial for washing, disinfecting, and removing impurities after consumption.

5. Hygiene ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Cotton fiber is a natural fiber, mainly composed of cellulose, which contains a small amount of waxy substances, nitrogen-containing substances, and pectin. After multiple inspections and practices, the American cotton fabric has been found to have no irritation or side effects when in contact with the skin, and has good hygiene performance.

Why is COTTON USA cotton certification so important?

The COTTON USA trademark is a globally registered trademark and is the core of the International Cotton Association's promotion program. At present, the COTTON USA trademark is adopted in major consumer markets around the world to demonstrate the comfort and quality assurance of cotton products produced using American cotton. Consumers believe that products with the American cotton logo have reliable quality, are sturdy and durable, and are manufactured by reputable manufacturers.
